Responsibilities

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Document incidents and patrol activities, communicating findings to leadership and site management.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour Job Schedule:

• Thur 12:00 PM - 09:15 PM
• Fri 12:00 PM - 09:15 PM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 09:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
