You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining clear reporting lines with site leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, Allied Universal management, and/or responding personnel regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
