Qualifications

• Security-related experience (minimum 6 months)
• Guard Card/License preferred
• Age 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required by law
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow reporting procedures.
• Document patrol observations and security-related concerns and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the business, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
