Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer in East Liberty, OH. You will perform unarmed patrols at a technology-focused location, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or facility concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and site traffic in accordance with established policies; verify credentials and direct visitors to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare accurate reports of observations, incidents, patrols, and security-related concerns; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
