Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Boise, ID. You will provide customer service and security support at a technology-focused site, patrolling areas and monitoring access while maintaining a visible presence.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting observations, and producing reports. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories may be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit in accordance with site policies.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift communications; promptly elevate security-related incidents and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
