Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, documenting observations and incidents accurately.
• Help maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming residential environment and helps to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.40 / Hour

Must be 21 or older

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
