Job summary

Allied Universal in Orange, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) for a health facility. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and maintain a safe environment while representing Allied Universal’s people-first culture.

The role offers flexible scheduling and a platform to explore other shifts through our Claim a Shift program. Minimum requirements include HS diploma and background/drug screening per law.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct patrols of interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations as required.
• Communicate professionally to maintain a welcoming commercial real estate environment.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and access control procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and incidents as required.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, contractors, and public service personnel while supporting a welcoming commercial real estate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
