Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Access Control) in Irvine, CA. You will safeguard clients, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued Security Professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigations as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office buildings, parking areas, garages, entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to site leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial office property.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office buildings, parking areas, garages, entrances, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued Security Professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
