Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver in Elk River, MN. You will monitor and patrol aerospace/defense facilities, maintain a visible security presence, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting access control and incident response.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license per policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeters to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and directing visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report to site leadership and emergency services.
• Complete accurate logs and shift documentation and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting access-control issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site representatives and emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
