• Complete accurate activity reports and shift logs while maintaining professionalism.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and an active DoD Secret Clearance. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $26.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
