Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to security concerns while reflecting the company’s people-first culture.

This unarmed driving role offers a part-time schedule (DayTime, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM) and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license, HS diploma, and background checks are required; drug screening may apply.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
