Job summary

Allied Universal’s team is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer, Patrol Driver with a focus on customer service at a The Colony retail/entertainment location in TX. You’ll perform vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access, and providing exceptional service while adhering to site rules. A valid driver’s license and background check are required; CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by employer.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

As a driving unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and team members. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sat: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an entertainment and retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout guest areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, assisting with visitor directions, crowd-flow concerns, and adherence to site rules as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Complete required reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications, and maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
