Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Patrol Operations in Roy, Utah. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, control access, and provide excellent customer service in a professional environment.

Minimum requirements include at least one year in security, DoD Secret Clearance, and a high school diploma. CPR is preferred. You must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) with background checks and drug screening per policy. Training is provided.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other designated areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements; direct authorized visitors and contractors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, access-control observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
