Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver in Stafford, VA. You will protect clients at a commercial real estate site, patrol interiors and exteriors, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, professional manner and document details per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify visitor access, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site contacts.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports with a professional presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and support badge control. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and communicate relevant details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access as directed, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports while maintaining a professional presence in a commercial real estate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
