Allied Universal in Lawrence Township, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities and communicate information to site leadership and responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver in Lawrence Township, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established utility location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility‑related facilities, buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
