Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and relevant security-related activities in required reports.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and relevant security-related activities in required reports and communicate concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
