Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Perimeter Patrol Driver) in Raleigh, NC. You will provide patient, visitor, and staff safety support while patrolling hospital facilities and parking areas, and maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to work on a set schedule with evening hours. We offer flexible shifts, paid training, and access to Career Growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and/or emergency responders in accordance with facility protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:45 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
