Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel per site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed by procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation; communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
