Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time patrol and customer assistance role in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will guard clients across tech/media/telecom environments, deliver customer service, and deter incidents through visible patrols and vigilant access monitoring.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating concerns per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by clear communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
