Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Situational Assessment Security Officer in Burbank, CA. You will provide tenant and visitor service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Schedule includes Fri/Sat/Sun evenings with a pay rate of $19.65 per hour. Minimum requirements include 1 year security experience, HS diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors and property personnel by following security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, parking facilities, exteriors, and perimeter areas to identify issues.
• Respond calmly to incidents and tenant concerns, ensuring professional problem-solving.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report incidents to management and leadership.
• Report hazards and policy violations to maintain an orderly environment per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while reporting security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor building access points and visitor activity, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
