Allied Universal in Ellenwood, GA is seeking a Security Officer – Logistics Perimeter Patrol for a part-time role. You will provide unarmed security, monitor access points, and ensure safety at a busy logistics and distribution site.

The position offers on-site shifts with a defined schedule (Friday and Saturday evenings) at $16.33 per hour, plus training and career growth opportunities within Allied Universal, North America's leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients and follow site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and manage emergency situations as directed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, trailer yards, dock areas, and perimeter.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, and unauthorized access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, trailer yards, dock areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy issues.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic flow, verify identification and shipping paperwork as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and visitor activity per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equal.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
