Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Warrenton, VA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings and site variety.

At least a high school diploma is required; CPR is preferred. You’ll help with access control, patient and visitor safety, and reporting while enjoying benefits and a path toward full-time roles as schedules allow.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Warrenton, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and restricted areas in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and actions taken accurately and promptly in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
