Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Warrenton, VA to monitor healthcare facilities, deter security incidents, and assist patients and staff while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. You will perform unarmed patrols, control access points, and document incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

CPR certification is preferred, and prior security or access-control experience is a plus.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and access-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
