Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Documentation in Tracy, CA to provide reliable security services with fixed shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts. Earn $17.92 per hour with a schedule including overnight shifts and the ability to scale to more hours through the scheduling platform.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in security, a guard card/license preferred, and a high school diploma.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Documentation in Tracy, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry and exit for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, theft, and property damage by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious activity or site hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
