Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed at our Tracy, CA site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling flexible hours and additional earnings.

Pay rate is $17.92/hour. The schedule includes Mon, Tue, and Sun from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with opportunities to grow within a safety-conscious, community-focused environment.

Formación

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) depending on role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.

Responsabilidades

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Tracy, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
