Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol in Erwin, TN to safeguard visitors and staff across government and other locations. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist guests, and follow procedures with professional communication.

The role offers flexible day shifts on weekends and weekdays, with a pay rate of $17.24 per hour. Prior security and customer service experience are valued, along with CPR/First Aid certification and HS diploma.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests at a government tourism location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, providing directions and assistance while helping maintain orderly operations at the location.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
