Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The position supports customer service at a commercial real estate site, with responsibilities including patrols, access control, and incident response.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report unauthorized access or concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence during routine operations and events, communicating with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location supporting professional sports operations and events.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials as directed and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or facility concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain a professional presence during routine operations, event‑related activities, and varying site conditions while communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
