Allied Universal in Elwood, IL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to patrol a manufacturing and industrial site, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

You will work an overnight Mon–Tue shift from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM, performing access control, incident response, and regular patrols while maintaining a welcoming environment and reporting observations to site leadership.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, solution-focused manner.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to site leadership.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
