Job summary

Allied Universal in Clinton, MS is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to protect clients across automotive and related facilities. You will provide courteous customer service, monitor access points, and perform patrols, while maintaining a visible security presence and adhering to site protocols.

The role offers flexible evenings, a $15.00 hourly pay rate, and opportunities to learn our Shift-claim platform and advance through training.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive manufacturing, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting entries, incidents, and relevant observations.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly work environment by reporting potential hazards, damaged property, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
