Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Route Driver) in Clinton, MS. You will provide professional customer service, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and deter security incidents as part of a visible security presence at an automotive site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Schedule includes daytime shifts with multiple daily blocks, and opportunities for growth through our Shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security observations accurately per site requirements.

This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking facilities, entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations accurately and completely in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
