Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol for an anchor shift schedule at a designated site. The role offers flexible part-time hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, boosting earnings while maintaining reliability.

You will perform security procedures, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents, while ensuring professional communication with site staff and leadership.

• Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related conditions, incidents, and operational needs.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Tour Verification in Ashburn, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
