Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for part-time overnight shifts in Perrysburg, Ohio. You will provide customer service, screen individuals and packages, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, drug screen, and applicable licensing as required by law. A valid driver's license is needed for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized entry and prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
