Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for an overnight shift in Lima, OH. You’ll patrol industrial locations, monitor access, and respond to incidents with a professional presence.

The role emphasizes customer service and adherence to site policies, with a schedule that includes Friday and Saturday nights. Minimum requirements include being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing accurate reports.
• Help deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence and timely communication of observed concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You’ll Do:
