Job summary

Allied Universal in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to provide customer service, screen personnel and vehicles, monitor access points, and report irregularities at a busy logistics and distribution site. • Monitor entry points, verify credentials and documentation, and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and help maintain orderly operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and authorized items entering or leaving the location in accordance with site-specific access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as assigned, and report irregularities or prohibited items to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
