Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Coraopolis, PA. This roving role offers reliable hours with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, designed to supplement income and build toward a full-time schedule.

Pay rate is $13.40 per hour, with a fixed shift and an anchor schedule to start. Responsibilities include customer service to tenants and clients, patrolling and securing areas, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background investigation will be conducted.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Roving Security in Coraopolis, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $13.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, office spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.


• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through clear and timely reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
