Job summary

Allied Universal in Latrobe, PA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Response to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a designated site. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional conduct.

This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional hours via our scheduling platform, with pay at $16.48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site-specific procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Latrobe, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
