Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Overnight Medical in Wellington, FL. You will safeguard clients across healthcare environments, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and deliver superior service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position type: Part Time.

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling, incident reporting, access control, and quick response to emergencies.

Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred for driving positions.
• Guard card is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, offering directions and assistance as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports in line with site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and access-related inquiries as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Guard card is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
