Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Observation in Juno Beach, FL. You will safeguard clients and work with a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor areas, deter incidents, assist with access control, and report concerns with integrity. Minimum requirements: two years of security experience, badge/ACCESS familiarity, high school diploma or equivalent, background check and drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as part of employment.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with post orders.
