Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Juno Beach, FL. You will protect clients across utilities and other sectors, supporting safety, access control, and incident response.

The role provides a flexible schedule with weekend shifts, on-site assignments, and opportunities to learn the company’s smart tools and growth paths. Must meet licensing and background requirements.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in security or similar role.
• Experience performing site-specific security procedures and access control.
• Ability to document patrols and incidents clearly and accurately.
• Familiarity with emergency response and reporting protocols.
• Proficient with basic computer or tablet usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, documenting observations and irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor and contractor sign-in processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and maintenance or security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
