Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain records of entries, exits, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete reports.
• Deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence and protect client property and restricted areas.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate records of entries, exits, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence while maintaining awareness of client property, equipment, and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
