Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and 1+ year of security-related experience.
• State/city security license preferred and 18+ for unarmed roles / 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; driving positions require license.
• Backgrounds reviewed in compliance with federal/state/local laws.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
