• Background checks and drug screening may apply by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel following site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and utilities.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document visitor and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, professional action.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain patrol logs.

Conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and utility-related facilities to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response protocols as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
