Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX. You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and deter security incidents while supporting a professional environment at a utilities location.

Qualifications include at least 1 year in security, valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, outages, and other critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, and parking areas.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, outages, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
