Job summary

Allied Universal in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Mobile Patrol Driver. You will provide on-site security, patrol facilities, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

A valid driver's license is required, with background checks and a drug screen as part of employment. Position is 24 hours per week with set day-time and evening shifts.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access to assigned commercial property areas, verify visitor or contractor authorization as directed, and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by observing for property damage, trespassing, and other security-related concerns, and escalating issues in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
