Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel at an industrial location by following security procedures and responding to incidents.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying authorized entry and observing visitor activity with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs related to patrols and security observations.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel at an industrial construction location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, equipment staging locations, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
