Job summary

Allied Universal in Horicon, WI seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver to protect client sites across manufacturing and industrial locations. This role involves routine patrols, access control, vehicle patrols, and timely response to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work evenings and weekends (Tue, Fri, Sat 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. A valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma are required;

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and appropriate emergency response.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Observe hazards and report concerns to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
