Allied Universal is seeking a part-time unarmed security officer to patrol healthcare facilities in Raleigh, NC. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, and perform patrols while maintaining a visible security presence for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A background check/drug screen is required where applicable.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and guiding visitors as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in site reporting procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access when required, and providing directions or assistance to visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
