Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Patrol Security Officer in Jersey City, NJ. Build a flexible schedule and work as part of a team focused on safety, service, and reliability.

You will perform patrols, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide customer service to tenants and staff while adhering to site policies. A valid driver’s license is required, CPR/First Aid is preferred, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required; background check and drug screen per policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or property damage.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activity, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 04:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
