Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Driver Patrol in Fairfax, VA. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to earn more by taking extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service, monitor access points, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and prepare daily reports. A valid driver's license, HS diploma, and readiness for a background check are required;

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required as allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a site.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Driver Patrol in FAIRFAX, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a utility operations location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and critical utility infrastructure to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
