Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Mobile Security Officer in Liberty Township, OH. You will provide security and customer service at a retail site, performing routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required by Allied Universal driver policy.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with management and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking lots, entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns; document and report observations.
• Assist with access control, directions, inquiries, and traffic or parking-related concerns while maintaining professionalism.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site management and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, customer inquiries, and traffic or parking-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
